My husband loves this arm rest. It's great for long road trips. It gives your arm some relief no more aching. It does come with adhesion but my husband chose to nail it down permanently. It works great! I definitely recommend this product.

My vehicle is a 2012 VW Tiguan and has no arm rest besides the window opening. Given that I drive a lot and go on trips I needed something for support. This item definitely does the job. Although it seems a bit flimy when your arm is on it, it has not fallen off once when I shut the door. I would definitely recommend.
